Entry Fee- $20.00 for one style; $25 for both
USA Wrestling card required.
Greco Weigh-in - 7:30 to 8:30am
Wrestling starts - 9:00am
Freestyle Weigh-in - 11:00 to 12:00
Wrestling starts- 1:00pm
*One weigh-in, if competing in both styles GR & FS.
This event is a qualifier for a National Team Scholarship for Fargo Cadet and Junior
Teams.
USAW weights will be used PLUS 3lb allowance - see list below.
Kids, Girls and Open will be Madison weight system,

Due to USA Wrestlings Policy, I would encourage you to compete at the weight you
intend to wrestle in Fargo, North Dakota. This is from the USA Wrestling website and
flyer- "Each state may enter a maximum of four (4) wrestlers in any one (1) weight class
per style." "In addition, the top three place winners from USA Wrestlings Regional
Championships and FILA Championships qualify for this event but MUST still adhere to
all individual state association policies."

There has been a huge change this year with the required 2 weigh-ins for each style.

Cadet Freestyle Medical Check & Weigh In: Thurs July 24, 2009 1:30pm (+3 lbs)
IMPORTANT DATES:

May 18 - Team Application, Fee, Order Form and Airline Deposit Due
June 7 & 8 - East Coast Duals, See Akil Patterson
June 15 - East Coast Freestyle Championships, Huntingtown HS
June 20 - Fargo Trip Balance Due
July 13 to 16 - National Team Training Camp at McDonogh- REQUIRED
July 18 - Leave for Fargo
July 26 - Return Home from Fargo
Any parent wanting to travel with the National Team to and from Fargo must see Mr
Filbert on May 18 and have a deposit of $400 to hold the airline ticket. With the rising
fuel cost for travel, the basic trip price will be $1180 for Fargo Nationals.
That price includes the following:
1) Round Trip transportation cost to Fargo, North Dakota. (required of all wrestlers $400
deposit, not optional/ non refundable)
2) Full Room and Board at the tournament (required of all wrestlers, not optional)
3) One National Team Uniform - consisting of a t-shirt and shorts. (required of all
wrestler, not optional)
4. National Team Training Camp with room and board. There will be order forms at the
McDonogh event and these need to be filled out that day and returned with deposit so
we can get order in for singlets, jackets, bags,etc.
